The fluid secretion from vagina is referred as vaginal discharge medically known as leucorrhoea. Some amount of this fluid is daily secreted that lubricates the vagina, cleans it by carrying away dead cells and protects against infection. Mostly vaginal discharge is normal and under normal circumstances it can be fluid, white or clear watery, sticky and vary in amount depending on the time of menstrual cycle. But vaginal discharge if attended with foul odour, itching, burning, pain or has changed colour and consistency then it may be arising from some health condition like a vaginal infection.

HOMOEOPATHY AND LEUCORRHOEA

Natural homoeopathic remedies for leucorrhoea are made of natural substances and are completely safe with no side effects. These remedies work to root out the underlying causes of leucorrhoea. Homoeopathy does not consider vaginal discharge just as infection but as something that has deeper roots within the system of the patient. Hence, the treatment is based on a detailed case study to treat the root cause of the disease. Homoeopathic medicines treat the symptom as well as prevent the recurrence of infection. The homoeopathic medicines for leucorrhoea are selected after a full individualizing examination and case analysis, which includes the medical history of the patient, physical and mental constitution etc.

KNOW YOUR DISEASE

Leucorrhoea also known as fluor albus, is a thick, whitish, yellowish or greenish vaginal discharge. It has also been referred to as "the whites". Leucorrhoea is a normal type of vaginal discharge present in both pregnant and non-pregnant people. It is an odourless discharge that is clear or milky in colour. Just like menstrual flow, the length, heaviness, and amount of leucorrhoea will vary from person to person.

The composition of leucorrhoea is fluid and dead cells being shed from your vagina. It is a sign of a healthy vagina. The mucus like fluid helps to keep vaginal tissues moist and clears away impurities that could lead to infections.
